Manaslu Tsum valley trek is a journey to remote North mid-West Himalaya of Nepal. It is a hidden valley of Manasalu area. Since many years trekkers are unknown about it. It has been around 10 to 15 years of getting its popularity. Very few trekkers are known about this place. The name Manaslu Tsum Valley is translated from the Tibetan language. It means “Beyul Kyimolung” for the valley of happiness. Here local people migrated from Tibet in around 300 years ago. They bring a rich culture and custom with them. Till now they are following the same. It is in the warm subtropical alpine with cool temperatures around the mountainous zone. The month of April to June and September to November is the best time to trek in this valley.
Manaslu tsum valley trek is started with a drive to Soti Khola. We follow the main trail and we settle down in many villages according to our itinerary. Here we get many traditional villages beneath towering of Ganesh Himal. Our walk will be mostly on the pristine forest of rhododendron, pines, magnolia, oaks and fir trees. It is a complete wilderness. Walking in wild we are offered with panoramic views of massive Ganesh Himal and few Manaslu ranges peak. This area is a most remote area of Nepal. So we have lacked the facilities. We need to spend our some nights in a tented camp. This will also be a very nice experience for us. Having a circular round around Manaslu Tsum Valley we lastly are at Soti Khola and drive back to Kathmandu to end our trek.
